Honey Vinyl Music Studio is located in the little river town of Newburgh, IN. It is our mission here to help students find their voice in music and to create an environment that encourages students of all ages to discover music through songwriting, guitar, piano, and singing. We strive to act as guides for our students, encouraging every student to lead their own personal journey in music, a journey that inspires, creates, and fills his or her heart with a passion for musical creation.
Teachers, Melanie Bozsa and Andrea Wirth, have been active in the Newburgh and Evansville community for nearly six years. Together, the duo performs under the name, "The Honey Vines."
Andrea began her passion and love of music early in her childhood and turned that into a performance platform that allowed her to grow in her love of writing music and the power that it can have on individuals. A teacher by day, Melanie earned a degree in education from the University of Evansville and has taught in both the Evansville and Warrick County school corporations, incorporating a teaching style that includes guitar playing and songwriting.
In 2013, the duo followed their hearts and love of music and teaching and opened Honey Vinyl Music Studio. Since the opening, Andrea and Melanie have worked with students ranging from ages 5-70. In November of 2015, The Honey Vines were named as a "Power Duo" by News4U for their involvement and role in the community. In the Fall 2016, Honey Vinyl Music Studio was featured by the Evansville Courier and Press for their unique approach to music instruction and songwriting sessions. In addition, Melanie was featured by the Evansville Courier and Press as "Teacher of the Week" among the Warrick County and Vanderburgh County School Corporations.
